Agave Desmettiana Varigated

Varigated Agave

I acquired two of these pups during the COVID lockdown in 2020, through a Facebook Plant Swap group, I traded a pot full of aloe plants for the two agave plants that were less than a year old. I am anxiously awaiting to see them bloom, but it the meantime, are loving on their pups and nuturing them for a beautiful future.

These plants will grow to be 4x4 feet, so plan to upgarde pot sizes over the years. I keep mine outdoors from frost to frost. These plants can handle a light frost when their soil is on the dry side. If their soil is wet and freezes, then it could damage the roots. As a rule of thumb, I try to have them moved inside before any frost hits.
